Ten distinguished professors from the University have been named among the top 100 best scientists in their respective fields. Three HKUMed Scholars Acquire International Accolades
Researchers of the LKS Faculty of Medicine of HKU (HKUMed) have acquired three international accolades: 2023 William B. Coley Award from the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) for Professor Tak Mak Tak-wah, Department of Pathology, School of Clinical Medicine; Associate Member of European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) for Professor Kathryn Cheah Song-eng, School of Biomedical Sciences; and Member of the Academia Europaea for Professor Chak-sing Lau, Dean of Medicine.
