Starting from 28 February, 2022 (Monday), the University of Hong Kong (HKU) will further enhance campus access control in three phases in line with the government’s policy of a “Vaccine Pass”. Only five major entrances to HKU campus will remain open.
HKU Vaccine Pass – Phase I
From 28 February, anyone who wishes to enter any part of HKU campus must have received two doses of recognised COVID-19 vaccines for at least 14 days, or have received one dose of COVID-19 vaccination plus provide a negative COVID-19 test result taken within the previous seven days. COVID-19 tests will no longer be accepted as an alternative to vaccination.
Children aged from 5 to 17 are only required to receive one dose of COVID-19 vaccination to be seen as fulfilling the requirement.
Those who have been assessed by a doctor as being medically unsuitable for vaccination will have to present a negative COVID-19 test result taken within the previous seven days to gain access to the campus.
Campus Access Control
From 28 February, only five major entrances to the HKU main campus will remain open. Please refer to this map for access through these entrances.
